2nd Phase Of The Electric Motorbikes Scheme

The 2nd Phase Of The Electric Motorbikes Scheme will be launched by the CM of Punjab very soon. In the first phase of this scheme, about 19,000 petrol and 1,000 electric motorbikes were distributed. This scheme has started for students studying in colleges and universities. The distribution of the first phase of this scheme has been completed. 

Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that the second phase of this scheme will start soon. Students who wish to join the second phase should register as soon as possible. After registration, they will be included in the scheme if they fulfill the eligibility conditions.

Motorcycles Distributed In The 1st Phase

In the first phase of the electric motorbike scheme, 20,000 motorbikes were distributed, including 20,000 petrol motorbikes and 2,000 electric motorbikes. The Punjab government is providing these motorbikes to the students in easy installments. Out of the 20,000, 11676 petrol motorbikes have been distributed among students. Girls have been included in this scheme to provide equal rights in society. Under this scheme, 7324 petrol motorbikes have been distributed to students per mile. 

The distribution process of the first phase of the electric motorbike scheme has been completed. Out of 1000 electric motorbikes, 700 electric motorbikes have been distributed to male students and 300 electric motorbikes have been distributed to female students. Ms Maryam Nawaz said that in the second phase of this scheme, the number of motorbikes has increased to include more students.

Eligibility Criteria for Students For the Electric Motorbikes Scheme

Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that under this scheme, 20000 students have received their ride. The number of motorbikes has remained higher in the second phase to include more students. To join the electric motorbike scheme, students have to fulfill certain eligibility conditions.

  • Students must be 18 years or above to be a part of the scheme.
  • Students who want to buy an electric motorbike must be regular students of a college or university.
  • Students wishing to get a motorbike must have a valid National Identity Card.
  • Applicants for the motor scheme must have a motorcycle driving license.
  • Students who join the first phase of this scheme will not be able to apply for the second phase.
  • Students must belong to Punjab; students belonging to other provinces will not be able to be a part of this scheme.
  • Students who meet the eligibility criteria can register for this program.

How to Apply in 2nd Phase of the Electric Motorbike Scheme

To apply for the second phase of the electric motorbikes scheme, you have to visit the official website of the scheme.

Register yourself by visiting bikes.punjab.gov.pk. To register, you will visit the official portal of this program. In the portal, you will enter your full name, email address, and valid National Identity Card number. After that, you will enter the name of your gender and the relevant province, and your password. Click on the green “Register” button, and register for the scheme. You will log in, and your application process will start. 

Providing all the necessary information, you will log in. After logging in, your application process will begin, and by providing all the necessary information, you will complete your application process for this program. After completing the application process, your eligibility will be checked. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will get a motorbike.
